Reliance LYF Water 3 follows the launch of LYF F1S and Wind 7S smartphones
Reliance LYF Water 3 is the latest smartphone from Reliance Digital, following the launch of Wind 7S and LYF F1S. The smartphone is a budget device that will be available exclusively on Flipkart along with Jio's 'Happy New Year Offer'.
LYF-branded handsets have been one of the the easiest ways to get access to Jio's free 4G data services. Reliance's retail division has been expanding its offerings rapidly with 4G-enabled devices starting at Rs 2,999, and going all the way up to Rs 20,000. The newly launchedWater 3 is an improvement over its predecessor Water 2, but arrives at a much cheaper price.
The LYF Water 3 features a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1280X720 pixels. The display lacks protection out of the box and using tempered glass would be recommended. Under the hood, there is Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB expandable storage.
Reliance LYF Water 3 sports a 13MP primary camera with autofocus and LED flash. There is a 5MP front snapper with beautification features and support for photo effects. The candy bar design is retained from Water 2 and the 7.7mm thick device weighs around 165 grams. LYF Water 3 comes with a 3000mAh battery, which is decent for the asking price.
The smartphone's USP is definitely the support for 4G VoLTE and LTE Bands 1, 3 and 40 in India. Reliance LYF Water 3 is priced at Rs 6,599 and will be available with additional one year warranty.
